The Founder
Enqu was founded by Assefa Derb, a Leather Engineering graduate of Bahir Dar University, with a professional background in banking and finance. With deep technical expertise in leather and firsthand experience of professional demands, he clearly saw the gap—and chose to close it.
Leaving banking behind, he committed to building a brand that proves Ethiopian craftsmanship belongs at the highest level.
